Holy Pumpkin Guts, Batman!!

I love this time of year~ I may have mentioned that 2 or 3 hundred times lately, but I really  really do! It inspires me~ all the gorgeous colors and the cool weather just makes me so happy and inspires me.  One of my favorite things in the fall is the smell of a campfire and I was lucky enough this year to have had my fantastic hubby make me this amazing fire pit!!!!  Sooo, after we carved pumpkins last night we had the inaugural fire in the fire pit and roasted WAY more marshmallows than we should have!!  What a blast!

Perfect Football Weather!!

I love fall!  The cool crisp mornings and the gorgeous not-blistering afternoons!  We were so enjoying the  weather last weekend and I decided to snap some pics of my kids just being them~ so many times I get caught up in creating the perfect setting and thinking of everything as a shoot that I forget to just have fun.  We had a blast!!

I had the best time with this little one out at the new and improved Holland Lake Park!  There are some really great spaces out there and I think we explored all of them.  I thought I'd share some of my favorites of the day~  I hope you enjoy them half as much as I enjoyed taking them!!

I couldn't believe how well behaved he was and he had such a great attention span for such a little guy. His brown eyes were just sparkling with curiosity and joy ~ we had a ball throwing sticks and then he decided to go on an ant stomping spree....what fun!

Happy Mother's Day!  First to my mom~ the greatest mom I could ask for and an unstoppable bundle of energy!  Second to all of my amazing friends who are moms~ I am so thankful to have all of you in my lives and to be able to learn from your lives as well as from your kids!!

To a great mom that I met the other day~ Happy Mother's Day Stephanie!!  Here is a quick peek at some of the pictures of your super handsome baby boy!!  He was such a pleasure to photograph~ I hope to have the opportunity to hang out with y'all again!

Spring Presents!!!

Wow! I can't believe how long it's been since I have last blogged! Bad bad bad me. Time flies!

I also can't believe it is Spring~ I am so looking forward to the longer (and warmer!) days. The grass is so green thanks to all the rain and the flowers are getting ready to bloom~ this has to be my all-time favorite time of the year to take pictures outside (go figure :)) In honor of Spring, all sessions booked on or before April 30 will receive as a gift a gorgeous Accordion Mini-Album~ actually you will receive 3, one to keep for yourself and two for friends, grandparents, etc. These little albums are the perfect "take along" size to show off your adorable little ones or your beautiful family anytime! I also wanted to remind you not to forget the furry members of your family~ no, not him... your pets!! I love photographing animals ~ they are always so much fun and there is NEVER a dull moment with them! From dogs to parakeets, llamas to horses, I love to capture your favorite animal's spirit in a photograph that will surely become a cherished memory!

Crazy for Christmas Cards!

As I sit here watching it snow outside (crazy!!!) I wanted to share some of the custom Christmas card designs that are available this year. This has been a really busy Christmas card season so I am just now getting around to sharing these but I am really happy with them!
