My Traveling Pants-Downtown Weatherford Shoot-Part 2

Ok, I know it seems like these are taking forever but there are so many cute pics that I have been editing 'till I'm cross-eyed!! BUT, I know that there are a couple of people out there who are looking forward to seeing these so I thought I would go ahead and post what I have done so far and then I will add the rest as soon as I am finished (hopefully today!!)

My Traveling Pants ~ Downtown Weatherford Shoot

Here is just a teeny sneak peek from this shoot~ I had the best time!! I could spend all day chasing these two (plus Lilly and a little wrangling from their older cousin!) around York street! What a blast! The only downside is that I couldn't make myself stop taking pictures...

So, here are just a few- I will post the rest as soon as they are finished. And no, these aren't "the best" from the session- there are so many I couldn't decide which ones to start with so they were pretty much just randomly picked... so I guess you could say the best is yet to come!!!

Downtown Mini-Shoot

Ok, so if you know me you know that one of my HUGE weaknesses is clothes and my fave clothes to buy are for Lilly. There is an awesome little children's consignment store in downtown Weatherford~ My Traveling Pants ~ that has the greatest upscale resale clothes! I love it and am there usually about once a week! They only take really great quality clothes and concentrate on the boutique brands. They are now also selling some new clothes that are amazing....including brands such as Mis Tee V-Us!! Lilly and I went down the other day and had a little mini shoot using some of their clothes- we had a fantastic time and are planning more next week. Downtown is a great place to shoot with so many old buildings and I hope to do many client sessions down there this spring.

Come on Spring!!!

I am SO ready for spring to get here!! I can't wait to get out and start taking pictures in the green grass of the pasture with all of the pretty leaves and blooms on the trees. I have been slowly stocking up on some fabulous dresses, tutus, pettiskirts and other fun things to play dress up with and I am so looking forward to photographing all of these kiddos as they play! I am already booking for May with only a couple of spots left open in April~ so excited!!

Check out the newest dress I have gotten in- I can't wait to see it against the gorgeous colors of spring! It is a size 4- I think it will work for girls between 2 and 5.

What little girl wouldn't LOVE this dress!! the hard part is keeping Lilly out of it!

I am also in the process of finishing my office/studio on the square so I will be offering studio photos very soon. The fun part of shooting in my studio is the area around it- when we are done indoors we can go outside around the cute little shops and great old buildings and do more urban type photos! I will be taking Lilly downtown this week to take some pics so I will post them here when we are done.

This is going to be a really exciting spring and I can't wait to share it with all of you!

Bad Bad ME!!

WOW! The fact that I haven't blogged in this long is really stunning to me!! Where in the world have the weeks gone?!?

We have been working like crazy planning a new studio space- used to be my office but I think it is going to be an amazing studio to do some fun indoor stuff as well as a good base to get some great shots around downtown Weatherford. Stay tuned- I will post pictures of the new space as soon as we get the great floors down.

The colder weather has kept me indoors the last couple of months so I have been playing around with some really fun different textures and techniques. Here are a couple of pictures that I have done with the new textures:

I LOVE this new texture~ it is a tulle veil and it is just so delicate and girly!

These are so much fun to do~ almost like painting with all of the layers and working parts in and erasing back others. It's an addiction!!

I will be sending out emails in the next couple of weeks with detail of a spring special we will be running and hopefully we will have the studio space done by then as well! So many fun things!!

div>Wow- I have no idea how this new year snuck up on me but here it is and now I have to learn how to write a whole new date! I really feel like it was just barely 2008-I just can't understand why it is that the more you need to get done the faster the time goes!!


I know that I've been a very neglectful blogger and while I'd like to say that my New Year's resolution is to blog more regularly, I just can't- see, I never keep my resolutions so that would just be setting me up for failure! Instead, I'm just going to take it one day at a time!! So what that it's only taken me 15 days into the New Year to start...better late than never, huh??



I thought that I would post a couple of my personal pics that I took over the holiday season while I was officially "on vacation" from working and shooting purely for the fun of it!

how great is this old bed- I found it at this cool shop in downtown Weatherford and knew I just had to have it!! I have some very big plans for it come spring!
